The exhibition titled 70 Years of the Split Summer Festival will serve as a kind of timeline of the Split Summer Festival, covering even the history that preceded the creation of this event, which was first held under the name Split Summer Events. The festival's development will be documented with photographs, newspaper articles and reviews, bulletins, and audiovisual materials (recordings of performances are available from 1980), with design being an integral part of the exhibition.

The 70 Years of the Split Summer Festival exhibition showcases the numerous locations where performances have been held. In the space of the Old City Hall, using extensive documentation, the exhibition traces the development of this cultural event, highlighting the most significant events and historical circumstances that have influenced its development. Significant personalities will be noticed, and through photography and video, the development of specific works, without which the Split Summer Festival would be almost unimaginable, will be particularly emphasized. The exhibition aims to bring the history of this cultural and artistic event closer to a broader audience and highlight the program's diversity and the artistic disciplines' comprehensiveness.
